World Rugby Pacific Challenge Tickets On Sale Now!

The ANZ Stadium in Suva takes pride in hosting the first set of exciting sporting internationals starting this Friday in the form of the World Rugby Pacific Rugby Challenge.

Classic Pacific Island rivalry will feature over three days in Laucala Bay with the exception of far travelers, Junior Japan in the mix starting Friday at 3pm with hosts, the Fiji Warriors talking on Samoa A while Tonga A takes on Junior Japan.

The World Rugby Pacific Challenge is a key developmental tournament for high-performance A sides, which creates a quality competition pathway for targeted investment unions and provides the incentive for ardent rugby fans to support the respective teams.

The Fiji Rugby Union and Fiji Sports Council are pleased to announce today that tickets are now on sale at the FSC Operations Building as well as online http://www.ticketdirect.com.fj at reasonable rates of $10 for Grandstand and $5 for Embankment.

Children under 12 years of age will receive free admission to the embankment only.

Limited tickets will also be made available on sale at FRU House in Gordon Street, Suva.

The Warriors won the PRC last year and are sure to face stiff competition from their Pacific neighbors Tonga and Samoa while Junior Japan have a point to prove as they gear up for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer John O’Connor says it’s great to kick start international rugby at home in March with tough Tests set up in June at the ANZ Stadium.

“This will be another fierce competition between the four nations, and the Telecom Fiji Warriors will be out to defend their title.  So I am urging all the supporters to buy their tickets and cheer for the boys at the ANZ Stadium this Friday.”

Tickets will be on sale from 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Friday’s from 8am to 4pm.
