Commonwealth Youth Games –Talent Identification Media Release

The Fiji Rugby Union is sending out an open invitation to players that are 17 years of age that are born in the year 2000 to be part of our Talent Identification Program to select both the Male and Female teams to the Commonwealth Youth Games which will be held in the Bahamas in July 2017.
The open invitation goes out to all players that fall under this category and must attend the Program in the designated Centers with the following requirements

  • Valid Passport that has more than 6 months to expiry from July 2017
  • An original copy of their birth certificate
  • Boots and Joggers
  • A signed consent from parents approving their participation in the Talent Identification Program (Letter to be collected from Talei Mow)

The schedule for the Program is as follows. Players will undergo Yoyo testing before teams are selected for the talent Identification.

  • 9th May Sigatoka- Lawaqa Park at 10.00am
  • 10th May in Nadi – Prince Charles Park 10.00am
  • 11th May in Suva – Bidesi Park  10.00am
  • 12th May in Savusavu – Ganilau Park 10.00am
