7s TEAM CELEBRATION
The President, Trustees, Chairman and Fiji Rugby Union Board plus Management and its Consortium of Sponsors would like to congratulate the Vodafone Fiji 7s Team for creating another milestone for Fiji, in winning the World 7s Series Title for a second consecutive year.
This is a tremendous achievement by our National Sevens Coach, Management and the Team who have toiled tirelessly with commitment, sacrifices and diligence in making our country Fiji and all Fijians proud.

The World Sevens Series season for 2015-16 has been a hectic one compared to previous years. Our 7s Team will be marching back into Camp to prepare for the Olympics from the 14th of June 2016.
The Coach and Management of the Vodafone 7s Team with the support of the FRU Board and Management have requested that there be no major celebrations to recognize the team’s achievement of winning back to back the World Rugby Sevens Series title due to the upcoming Rio Olympic Games in August. Winning the World Sevens Series was a collective objective in this Road to Gold journey to Rio for FRU, hence we seek your understanding.
It has been an intense few months and there has been a lot of hard work and sacrifice put in by the players to achieve this back to back win. The players need to take a well-earned and deserved rest including spending quality time with their families prior to the commencement of preparation for the Rio Olympics.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to your continued prayers for our Vodafone National 7s Team in their preparation and quest for Gold at the Rio Olympics.
