Rooster Chicken Sponsors Referees kit

Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) is delighted to announce that Rooster Chicken has come on board to be the major sponsor the Match Officials for the next three years. We thank and acknowledge the Almighty for Roosters, their Management and Team and for this great support.

Rooster Chicken has strengthened its relationship with FRU after supporting the Flying Fijians during the two test match series against the All Blacks in July last year.

FRU Chief Executive John O’Connor extended his gratitude to Rooster Chicken for supporting the match officials who play a very vital role in all the levels of our domestic competitions from Kaji to Skipper Cup. Without the match officials, we have no games. We are so humbled for Rooster’s support in such challenging times.

O’Connor added “Sponsors are crucial for our objectives both on and off the field. It is through Roosters support that we will be able to assist in the development of match officials from grassroot and create their own pathways throughout our competitions. We will also be able to cover their match fees and other operational costs.

We also thank the Fiji Rugby Referees Association for their support and their perseverance.

Through this partnership, we will provide match officials with their off the field and likewise two pairs of branded on the field kits which the match officials will use during all our domestic competition.

The match officials who will take part in the Fun Flavour Super 7s Series will wear their new Rooster Chicken sponsored kit during the three-day tournament at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka from Thursday.

It brings us great joy when Fiji wins in Rugby and it is important that Fiji Rugby has the necessary resources to be able to support our teams and the entire country in the national and international stage.
