Police tops the series leaderboard after two legs

The third leg of the Fiji Rugby Super Sevens Series is going to be tougher than the previous two legs with 14 confirmed teams and two wildcards to be selected from Vanualevu.

The Police Blue team remains the undefeated team in the Series and has won the past two legs and that puts them on gun point as the team to beat.

They will be leading Pool A and will play against the underdogs and Ratu Filise and the Wardens team with the unexpected anonymous wildcard side from Vanualevu.

In Pool B, a star studded Police White team will hold their fort against Uluinakau, the giant slayers Eastern Saints and the BLK Stallions team.

Pool C, will be an exciting battle with unexpected results from each match. The Raiwasa Taveuni side will defend their turf against previous Plate winners Army and Tabadamu in the pool games with the wildcard 16th team that will be named later.

In the last pool, the LAR Barbarians will face Wadigi Salvo, Nawaka and Fire in Pool D.

Police Blue leads the points table with 44 points, Raiwasa Taveuni 36, LAR Barbarians 32 and Police White with 30 points.

In 5th place, Ratu Filise has 27 points, Army 26, Uluinakau 21, Tabadamu 20, Wadigi Salvo 16, Wardens 14, Fire 11, while Eastern Saints, Nawaka and BLK Stallions earned 7 points.
