Fiji Rugby are thrilled to announce local furniture and electrical retailer Subrails has joined the rugby family, signing a three-year partnership as the Union’s Official Furniture & White Goods Supplier.
CEO Mr John O’Connor said the new partnership is a major boost in tough economic times.
“It is a thrill to welcome Subrails into the rugby family just as we get ready to launch our domestic competitions.” he said.
“We are navigating extraordinary times, so to secure a new partner is a significant achievement and we’re grateful for Subrail’s support and belief in rugby.”
The partnership will see Subrails become the Official Furniture & Whitegoods Retailer for Fiji Rugby, where they will assist in a staged upgrade of Rugby House furnishings as well as featuring on the left sleeve of all jerseys in the Vodafone Vanua Championship.
Mr. Shiva Gounder of Subrails said the decision to join forces with Fiji Rugby had been on the company’s plans for quite some time and they were pleased to step in and ignite some spark into the second half of 2020.
“As a local manufacturer & retailer of furniture, we are proudly Fijian and thereby proud to align ourselves with Fiji Rugby.” Mr. Gounder said.
“We look forward to the next three years as we build our relationship with Fiji Rugby and particularly our presence within the Vodafone Vanua Championship.”
Fans and friends of Fiji Rugby will be able to shop and spectate at the Subrails pop up stores to be activated during nominated Skipper Cup and Vodafone Vanua Championship matches across the season.
