Fiji Warriors dominate Pacific Combine team

14 players from the Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors side have been selected in the 26-member Pacific Combine team.


After a successful campaign by Fiji Warriors in retaining the World Rugby Pacific Cup, the Fijian players dominate the Pacific Combine team which also includes seven players from Samoa A and four from Tonga A.


Eroni Mawi, Mesulame Dolokoto, Veremalua Vugakoto, Livai Natave, Luke Tagi, Meli Turaga and Johnny Dyer have been named in the forwards.


In the backs, Frank Lomani, Caleb Muntz, Tira Patterson, Enele Malele, Veramu Dikidikilati Osea Waqa and Simione Kuruvoli have made it through into the team.


The Pacific Combine side faces Namosi in a trial match at 3pm at Albert Park on Saturday.
