“Every game each week will be tougher” Rupeni Nasiga

After punishing Tailevu to a 33 – 3 victory last weekend, Nadroga is looking to keep at this pace as they aim to accumulate as many points as possible to their Skipper points table going forward.

With 2 wins and 1 loss, Nadroga knows that every game is a crucial one in which they must get the win or a bonus point to move to the top of the points table.

An optimistic approach towards their 2020 Skipper journey however, the stallions understand how heavy this task will be for them knowing how hard the challenge will be coming in from other teams.

Even after the big win over Tailevu, they know they should double up the effort as well as the pace in the next clash against Naitasiri if they want things to go their way. Naitasiri and Nadroga are the two explosive rivalries that always put on a hell of a rugby show worth watching as their clash is always a thriller.

Naitasiri with 1 loss and 2 wins we’ll be coming to this fourth round with a definite win sticking to their mind. Nadroga captain Rupeni Nasiga knows they’ll be coming in full force which is why he said they’ll need to adjust their gameplay.

“We will need to sharpen up our set pieces, work on our lineouts and we’ll have to be prepared for the Naitasiri onslaught knowing how they always like to bring the game to us.”

Nasiga knows that these areas are crucial factors in putting them ahead of the race when they take on the Highlanders.

He added that going into another round of Skipper, they know there’s always a new challenge for them and they “do not look down on any team as we know all teams are a very good team and well-prepared coming into this Skipper competition, and every game each week will be tougher.”

In the fourth round this weekend Nadroga plays Naitasiri at Lawaqa Park, Namosi takes on Yasawa at Nadovu Park, Lautoka, Lautoka takes on Nadi on Friday at Prince Charles Park while Tailevu takes on Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park.
