After a superb performance for the Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors, he made it into the Pacific Combine team for the second time this year.

Dikidikilati explained that he’s has learnt a lot being part of the Pacific Combine team for the past two year.

Strategies, training routine, simple diet program and daily schedule has transform this ordinary athlete into a beast of a player.

“Last year I was also in the Pacific Combine squad and learnt a lot from the experience coaches as part of the program.”

Dikidikilati said the program has helped him a lot in developing his knowledge and skills.

“I have learnt a lot from simple fitness point to looking after myself and repeating this routine in my daily life.”

The Lomai, Naitasiri lad had always been humble on his journey, from committing to training back in his younger days as he recalled the lack of resources he used to have did not deter him.

Struggling to improve his skills in the field is a usual scenario for powering winger as he explained that he would walk miles just to attend training and learn simple basics steps to improve in rugby.”

“I came across financial difficulties and at times I would walk from Tamavua Village to the ANZ Stadium to attend training.”

“Most of the time I usually sit on the bench during game time but it didn’t stop me from giving my effort in training, and when I got the opportunity I made the most of it.”

Dikidikilati added that his parents has always played a vital role in shaping up his rugby career and he is thankful of it.

It’s not the end for the Naitasiri lad as he now turns his focus on playing for the Fiji Airways Drua side in Australia’s National Rugby Championship this year.
