This young Tailevu winger has made remarkable progress this year. He stood out when helping Tailevu win the Sullivan Farebrother Trophy in 2007. Knights coach Eddie Waqa was impressed and roped him in for the 2008 Colonial Cup, where he sprinted his way into Ilivasi Tabua’s good books and earned a place in the Air Pacific Fiji Warriors team. He was also named Man of Match in two of the Knights Colonial Cup matches; the first was after the Knights defeated Stallions 15-10 in Round 2 of games and the second time a week later, although the Knights loss 15-10 to the Highlanders.Nagusa continued to mersmerise with his pace and workrate to start at right wing for the Flying Fijians against Samoa in Lautoka in their first IRB Pacific Nations Cup game this year. The young police constable performed as expected, working admirably well alongside the experienced Sireli Naqelevuki and Vilimoni Delasau to score two tries.
