Openside ball-hunter who has impressed since his debut against the NZ Maoris in 2005. Physical presence at the breakdown. Had three good seasons with top French club Agen before joining Massey. Returned to Fiji club rugby after the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Scored a good try against the Junior All Blacks in 2006 and against the Wallabies at RWC 2007.

A physical player who displayed awesome ball-hunting skills in his debut against the NZ Maoris at the National Stadium in 2005. Ratuva did not attend the earlier trials but a video of his matches in France was enough to convince the selectors.

Ratuva played his early years of rugby at Cuvu College before heading for greener pastures overseas, and with a good heritage of rugby, a lot more can be expected of this bright prospect.

Younger brother of former Auckland Blues lock and national rep Vula Maimuri, Ratuva has remained the No.1 choice for Wayne Pivac at openside flanker since 2005.

Had three good sessions with top French club Agen before joining Massey. Scored a good try against the Junior All Blacks in 2006.

Played for Fiji in the 2007 RWC.
