Waqa to manage Flying Fijians

Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) chairman Mosese Tikoitoga has appointed High Performance Unit Manager Talemo Waqa to the role of Flying Fijians team manager with immediate effect. Waqa assumes the role vacated by former team manager Pio Tikoisuva who has now taken over the role of acting chief executive officer with the FRU.
Waqa’s appointment covers the Pacific Nations Cup, the All Blacks Test and the Punjas Series against Tonga. However, Tikoisuva will assume the team manager’s role again for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
