Europe Diary Day 25 - A day of goodbyes 30 November, 2009 It was a day of goodbyes... Goodbye to Bucharest and the wonderful people of Romania as we boarded our morning flight back to London. Then on arrival in London it was goodbye to Josh Matavesi, Timoci Nagusa, Apolosi Satala, Wame Lewaravu, Norman Ligairi, Vereniki Goneva, performance analyst Daniel Lyne and strength and conditioning coach Brad Harrington as they returned to their various clubs and homes in England, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy. Unlike sunny Bucharest, London is cloudy, grey and wet which seems to have been par for the course in the British Isles throughout our whole stay here on tour - with the exception of three deceitfully sunny days in Ireland.

Europe Diary Day 23 - More spies The Cold War may be over but spies were still around this morning as the Flying Fijians went through their Captain’s Run at the match ground in Bucharest. Like the day before last a suspicious looking individual was caught with video camera in hand filming the Fiji team as they went through their moves. more More News
