Fiji U19s ready for opener against South Africa
05 April, 2007
The Fiji U19 side face a tough opening match tonight when they take on South Africa at the IRB World Championship in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Fiji manager Waisake Tuicakau says the players have prepared well for what will be the biggest game of their careers so far.
“We have trained hard to reach our goal of getting into the top six,” Master Tuicakau said. “We need to win all or two of our pool games to achieve our objective. The boys are ready for South Africa and we look forward to a good game.”
Fiji will face Australia on Monday and Scotland on 13 April.
