New Zealand won the sixth leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Adelaide Australia, beating South Africa 28-20 in the Cup final, to extend their lead to 13 points with two tournaments remaining, in England and Scotland.
It is the New Zealanders' fourth Cup title of the season and leaves them with 134 points, 13 ahead of England on 121 with Samoa (100), South Africa (92) and Fiji (90) now lying third, fourth and fifth respectively.
In the other trophies Wales beat Fiji and then Argentina to take the Plate, USA overcame Kenya to claim the Bowl and Japan beat Tonga to claim the Shield.
