Suspected neck injury for Naitasiri player

Naitasiri’s hooker Samu Suguturaga was whisked off to hospital this afternoon by St John Ambulance with a suspected neck injury sustained during his side's round 6 Digicel Cup clash agasint Lautoka.
According to match officials, Suguturaga was taken down in a tackle that saw him stagger off the ground.
After lying on his stomach for a few minutes, Suguturaga was not able to sit up or move his head. Naitasiri team officials alerted the St John Ambulance paramedics, who put him in a neck brace and then onto a stretcher where he was taken to CWM hospital.
