Local office equipment company Remington, who are the agents of world renowned Japanese office equipment brand Konica Minolta, have today joined the Fiji Rugby Union’s (FRU) growing family of sponsors after signing a sponsorship agreement with the FRU.
In making the announcement FRU CEO, Keni Dakuidreketi, expressed his delight in the FRU being able to secure such a sponsorship with Remington.
“It has come in a very timely manner to assist the FRU with its operations and the professional running of its administrative functions with the latest cutting edge digital technology and office machines,” Dakuidreketi said.
“It will also boost FRU's ability to assist Unions by providing office machines to the various FRU High Pperformance Unit offices around the country to help with the development of rugby.”
Mr Willie Kwansing, the managing director of Remington, was delighted to be able to assist the FRU.
“I’m glad to be able to support Fiji Rugby and help with the development of rugby in Fiji, particularly in providing modern and efficient machines that will make life easier for FRU in terms of cost and services,” Kwansing said.
While the sponsorship was officially signed today already two top of the range Konica Minolta photocopy machines have been delivered to the FRU and are currently in operation.
“With our partners Konica Minolta we would like to build on our relationship with the FRU and continue to expand and provide the FRU with the latest technology,” Kwansing added.
Remington’s sponsorship agreement with the FRU is for three yearrs and follows hot on the heels of local water company Pleass Beverages and Packaging
who signed with the FRU last month as Fiji Rugby's official water supplier through the supply of AquaSafe bottled water.
