Pacific Rugby Cup trials brought forward Underline 20 January, 2012 The Fiji Warriors fitness testing programme has been brought forward a week from Thursday 2 February to Thursday, 26th January, 2012. The Fiji Rugby Union requests all players named in the Fiji Warriors Pacific Rugby Cup Squad (listed below) are to assemble at the Suva HPU Gym at the allocated times for East and West Groups as follows:

- East Based Players Testing Time: 8.30 AM – 12.30 PM
- West Based Players Testing Time: 1.00 PM – 5.00 PM

With the actual Pacific Rugby Cup trials happening on 27 January players coming in from the West are requested to organize their own accommodation in Suva.

The programme for 26 January is as follows:

EAST SQUAD PLAYERS TESTING 

8:30 AM Screening
• Sit and Reach
• Bodyweight
• Skin folds
• Vertical Jump
• Overhand Grip Chins 

9:30 AM Speed Test – 10m, 40m 

10:20 AM Endurance Test – 3km Run 

10:40 AM Interval 

11:00 AM Strength Tests – 3Rep Max Lifts
• Deadlift
• Bench Press
• Squat 

12:00 PM Break

WEST SQUAD PLAYERS TESTING 

1:00 PM Screening
• Sit and Reach
• Bodyweight
• Skinfolds
• Vertical Jump
• Overhand Grip Chins 

2:00 PM Speed Test - 10m, 40m 

2:40 PM Endurance Test - 3km Run 

3:00 PM Interval 

3:20 PM Strength Tests – 3 Rep Max Lifts
• Deadlift
• Bench Press
• Squat 

4:20 PM Break
