Nemani Nadolo moves from Bourgoin to Exeter. |
Former Flying Fijian winger and Junior Wallaby Nemani Nadolo is moving from Bourgoin of the Top 14 in France to Exeter of the English premier division where he will team up with fellow Fijian internationals Sireli Naqelevuki and Josh Matavesi.
Arriving in August from Manley and the Waratahs,on a 2 year contract, Nemani, 23 this week, found himself caught up in the French club's financial problems.
Bottom of the league, and facing relegation after being deducted 5 points, Bourgoin have had to cut their budget, thus releasing the giant winger six months into his contract.
Various French clubs, notably Stade Francais, were keen to sign him, but he has opted for the South-West England club, promoted this year and impressing in the top division.
He has already played against them in the European challenge cup, and now that his work visa has been cleared, he is set to make his debut for the Chiefs this week-end in the same competition.
