Manager - Digicel Fiji 7s team

Applications are invited from interested individuals for the position of Manager of the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the 20011-12 HSBC Sevens World Series.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer via the High Performance Manager of the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU), the appointee coordinates the logistic support, administration, budget and programme management of the Digicel Fiji 7s team.
The appointee should be able to organize players' daily programmes, supervise and monitor the team's preparation needs, conduct meetings with players and officials, arrange travel documents and all other administrative matters for and on behalf of the team as required by both the FRU and the International Rugby Board.
All applicants must have an up to date passport and driver’s license plus be able to travel to New Zealand and Australia. Requirements
The appointee must have demonstrated intellectual capacity, drive, determination and flair in his/her existing job and a proven management record. A report on each leg of the Series is to be submitted to CEO of FRU within a week of returning to Fiji.
The position of Digicel Fiji 7s Coach reports directly to the Digicel Fiji Team Manager who in turn reports to the Chief Executive Officer and High Performance Manager of the Fiji Rugby Union.

Closing date of applications: Monday 7th November 2011 Note for Interview Those called for the interview will be required to make a presentation to the Panelists lasting 30 minutes. Each may choose his/her mode of presentation: OHP, hard copy, or Power Point. The Presentation to include:
i. understanding the Manager’s Role;
ii. In a crisis situation while on tour, e.g. 2 players lose their passports, what would you do?
iii. The relationships: Manager-Coach-players
iv. A player is awarded a red card and needs to appear with you before the Judicial Committee – what would you do?
v. Discipline (preparation & on field) is an area of concern – how would you deal with it?
