Little named in East v West national trials

Under 20 trialist and New Zealand based Fijian Michael Little has been named in the East team for the East vs West rugby match to be played at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park on the 16 May. The match will be a flood appeal fundraiser and also act as a national trial for the Pacific Nations Cup squad.
Little who plays for the North Harbour in New Zealand, joined the Under 20s last week and has been in camp preparing for the Junior World Championships in South Africa in June.
Other notable inclusions in the East and West teams named today are eight players from last year’s World Cup squad - Waisea Daveta, Viliame Veikoso, Leone Nakarawa and Tuapati Talemaitoga were named in the East team; while Setefano Somoca, Sekonaia Kalou, Malakai Ravulo, and Rupeni Nasiga were named in the West team.
Overseas based players that are expected to join the teams next week and battle for a spot in the PNC squad are 2007 RWC Flying Fijians team member Graham Dewes, Nemia Kenatale, Malakai Bakaniceva, Alusio Buto, Viliame Seuseu, Nemia Soqeta Ropate Ratu and John Jackson.
The match kicks off at 5pm.
