From a Chief to a Brive - Waqaniburotu

26 year old former Fijian captain and Flanker, Dominiko Waqaniburotu has signed on with French Top 14 side, Brive.
Waqaniburotu captained Fiji at the 2010 Pacific Nations Cup and was a member of the 2011 Rugby World Cup Fiji Team.
He signed a two year contract from the New Zealand outfit the Chiefs in Hamilton and will join Brive even if they are relegated.
Waqaniburotu capped 10 times for Fiji had a modest 2011 Rugby World Cup that ended with a three-week ban for a dangerous tackle on South African fullback Patrick Lambe.
Fiji was thrashed by South Africa in that game 49 – 3.
Brive are involved in a battle for the second and last relegation spot and are presently third from bottom above Bayonne only on better points difference with just two games remaining.
