Apisalome Ratuniyarawa joins his elder brother in the Warriors.
National head coach Sam Domoni today named a 30 member squad to represent the Air Pacific Fiji Warriors in the 2011 Pacific Rugby Cup. The squad was named after trials held this afternoon.

Included in the squad is Digicel Fiji 7s player Timoci Vakadranu and Ponsonby’s Jona Tuitoga who impressed, not only during the trials, but also for Ponsonby during the Uprising 7s played at the National Stadium in Suva last month.

Also teaming up for the first time at national level will be brothers New Zealand-based Sekonaia Kalou and Naitasiri lock cum flanker Api Ratuniyarawa.

“It’s a really proud moment for me and the family for both of us to be named in a national team, it’s a very special moment,” Kalou said.

The only other player to have forced his way into the squad, and who did not appear for the Warriors on their recent Australia tour, is Naitasiri winger Paula Tiko.
