The purpose of this document is to detail the selection policy and criteria of the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) in a clear and concise manner. Key stakeholders in maintaining the integrity of this policy are the national head coaches, national selectors, and FRU management and staff. Strict adoption and enforcement of this policy will ensure that national player appointments are transparent, the selection process is well defined, and players and officials are well informed as to the requirements of the FRU when selecting players.
This policy goes further to identify the roles and responsibilities of our athletes in reaching for FRU national team selection.
