Vodafone Flying Fijians for Scotland Test Match

Vodafone Flying Fijians Head Coach, John McKee has today named a very strong team to meet the Scotland team this Saturday.

There has been five changes made to the team that played Italy last week, with Josua Tuisova, Mosese Ducivaki, Sikeli Nabou and John Stewart set to make their debut in front of their home crowd at the ANZ Stadium.

Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach, John McKee says that the team selected needs to step up and take on the challenge against the Scottish.

“This Vodafone Flying Fijians selection must step up and take on the challenge we have against Scotland on Saturday. It is no longer good enough to just challenge these top International Teams we must start winning big games.”

Following their win over Australia last weekend, McKee says that the visitors have a lot of confidence in them and will be tough opponents.

“Scotland have come to Fiji with a lot of confidence from their win over Australia, they will be a more difficult opponent than Italy so we must be right on top of all aspects of our game.”

They are well known for their outstanding defence and variation in attack, which the Vodafone Flying Fijians will have to counter come Saturday.

“They also have an excellent defensive team, we will have to be very patient in attack to create and finish off scoring opportunities.”

“They bring a lot of variation in attack with an expansive game. Work rate and connection will be very important in our defensive effort on Saturday” McKee added.

The Vodafone Flying Fijians have a lot to play for, this Saturday, a win against Scotland in front of their home crowd and a spot in the 28 member squad for the RWC Qualifiers in Tonga and Samoa.

“This game is very important as a selection guide for RWC Qualifications matches against Tonga and Samoa as I plan to name the 28 man squad on Saturday night after the match. I urge all players to make the most of their opportunities in this match.”
