Fiji Rugby Awards Night Launches Vodafone People’s Choice Awards
Voting is now open for the Fiji Rugby Awards Night Vodafone People’s Choice Awards 2016. The people of Fiji can pick their favourite rugby “Players of the Year” from four nominated contenders representing the Vodafone Flying Fijians, the Vodafone Fiji 7s Team, the Telecom Fijiana, Domestic Competition and Coach of the Year.
The exciting announcement comes as FBC TV signs on as Official TV Broadcaster of the Fiji Rugby Awards Night on December 16th at Novotel Suva Lami Bay.
“Today is a historic day whereby the people of Fiji can have their say on who their favorite rugby player is through voting by text message on the selected four nominees from each of the five categories. Vodafone has been a long standing partner of Fiji Rugby Union and we are grateful that they have taken ownership of the Fiji Rugby Awards Night Vodafone People’s Choice Awards.
The nominees were selected based on their performance and character year round both domestically and internationally.” Said Commander Francis Kean, Chairman of Fiji Rugby Union Board.
The winners of the Vodafone People’s Choice Awards will be officially crowned at the much anticipated and welcomed Fiji Rugby Awards Night and shall receive a Samsung S7 mobile phone each.
Voters will also enter a lucky draw to win invitations to attend the Fiji Rugby Awards Night in person together with some other great prizes from Vodafone.

Rugby fans will be able to vote for their favorites o ultimately determine the winners in each category of the Vodafone People’s Choice Awards. Votes can be casted by texting the assigned code of the nominee to the voting line, 812.

The Fiji Rugby Awards Night Vodafone People’s Choice Awards Voting closes on Thursday, December 15th at midday. Audited results will be kept top secret till the moment of announcement during the Fiji Rugby Awards Night proceedings the following evening, Friday 16th December.
